Enter the training course

  1. If you just completed the previous steps of logging in and enroling yourself in the training course, you will have been redirected into the course.
  2. If not, login to Moodle, click My Courses in the navigation menu and click the name of the course to enter it.

Completing the training if you are not taking SN3 / NYC

If you are not taking SN3 / NYC, the training course should be named Rules and Guidelines for Physics Labs. If this is not the case, return to the previous step and enrol yourself in the correct course.

The training course consists of a single activity which is a single-question waiver. Complete that and you are done. You can ignore the rest of the instructions on this page.

Completing the training if you are taking SN3 / NYC

If you are taking SN3 / NYC, the training course should be named Rules and Guidelines for Physics SN3 / NYC Labs. If this is not the case, return to the previous step and enrol yourself in the correct course.

The training course consists of three Units. Complete the Unit 1 training before the first day of classes of the semester. Complete the Unit 2 and Unit 3 trainings by the dates indicated.

To begin, click the title of the first activity under Unit 1 to start it.

When finished the activity, you will see a summary page like the one below. You must click the green Submit Report button to fully complete the activity.

Complete the remaining activities of the Unit 1 training

To get back to the other activities, click the link to physics-lab-safety-sn3 (or the name of the course you are doing the training in) at the very top of the page:

You will see that the first activity of the Unit 1 training is now marked as Done.

Complete the other activities of the Unit 1 training in the same way. When you have completed all the activities under Unit 1, you will obtain a Unit 1 completion badge. The next section explains how to view your completion badge and show it to your teacher.

Complete the training for the other units

Later in the semester, you must complete the Unit 2 and Unit 3 trainings in the same way by the dates indicated.
